The University of Naples Federico II proudly bears the name of the Swabian emperor who founded it on June 5, 1224. As the world’s oldest public university, it carries a legacy of nearly eight centuries of academic excellence. The university’s campuses are spread across Naples, with historic buildings located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the city center. The conference will take place at the School of Engineering, a stunning example of Italian rationalism designed in 1949. Located in the Fuorigrotta district, the complex features two main buildings (6 and 11 floors) connected by lateral wings, accessible through the porticoed atrium. The conference entrance is at Piazzale Vincenzo Tecchio 80, 80125 Naples.
