Welcome cocktail
The Welcome Cocktail will take place on July 7th, 30 minutes after the end of the technical sessions of the conference (6 PM – 8 PM). The Cocktail will take place in the Catering Area of the Conference Venue.
Gala dinner
The Gala Dinner will take place at Royal Continental Hotel, located in Via Partenope 38/44, 80121 Naples (NA), Italy, on July 8th, from 8 PM.
To reach the Royal Continental Hotel from the Conference Venue (Piazzale Tecchio) you can choose between a quick drive or public transport. Please note that July evenings in Naples can be busy, so allow extra time for traffic.
- By Taxi (Recommended for the Gala Dinner)
- Travel Time: Approx. 15-25 minutes depending on evening traffic.
- Instructions: Take a taxi from the stand in Piazzale Tecchio (in front of the station). Ask for “Via Partenope, 38 – Hotel Royal Continental”.
- Note: Since the event starts at 8:00 PM, we suggest leaving the Conference Venue area by 7:30 PM to account for the busy sunset traffic along the coast.
- By Private Car
- Route: Take Viale Augusto, pass through Galleria Laziale, and follow the seafront (Via Caracciolo). Turn into Via Chiatamone to reach the hotel area.
- Parking: The hotel has an internal garage, but it is highly recommended to book a spot in advance, as the Lungomare area is extremely crowded on July evenings.
- By Public Transport (Bus 151)
- Travel Time: Approx. 30-40 minutes.
- Instructions: Catch Bus 151 from the Giulio Cesare – Tecchio stop.
- Arrival: Get off at the Arcoleo – Farmacia Morelli stop. From there, it is a pleasant 5-minute walk toward the sea to reach the hotel.
- Return Trip: The 151 bus still runs, but frequencies may be lower. A taxi is advised for the return journey late at night.
- By Metro Line 2
- Instructions: Take the train from Napoli Campi Flegrei towards San Giovanni-Barra.
- Exit: Get off at Piazza Amedeo.
- Last Leg: From Piazza Amedeo, you can take a 15-minute walk through the elegant Chiaia district or a quick taxi ride (5 minutes) to the hotel entrance.
