The 2023 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2023), Europe’s premier on-demand aircraft and advanced air mobility event is taking off at the magnificent Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland, and the Geneva International Airport from Tuesday 23 May through Thursday 25 May 2023
The EBACE is a premier event and the annual meeting place for the European business aviation community. The exhibition brings together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, flight department personnel, avionics firms, fractional providers, charter/lease companies and all manner of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation.
15-17th May 2023, Venice
Space Meetings Veneto will be a new global business event organized by the Aerospace, Innovation, and Research Network of Veneto, bringing together professionals and researchers to discuss the latest developments in satellite applications. The event will take place at Venezia Marine Terminal from May 15th to May 17th, 2023, and will provide an interconnected platform for aerospace industry stakeholders to learn, debate and network. For its inaugural edition, Space Meetings Veneto will focus on 4 major topics:
16 December 2022, Torino
The AIDAA Section of Torino is pleased to invite you to the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of its foundation, taken place on 14 December 1922. Invited speakers include members of the Associations and representatives from the local aerospace sector with an overview of the history of the section and future perspectives.
10-12th May 2023, Turin
AIDAA is glad to announce that the International Conference on Space Exploration will be held in Politecnico di Torino from 10 to 12th May 2023. For the first time, the Air and Space Academy (AAE) decided to have its annual event outside of France, and AIDAA is proud to have been selected as the organizing partner. Furthermore, the Politecnico di Torino and the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) strongly support the conference. The conference’s purpose is to focus on central themes for Space Exploration, with keynote speakers from agencies, industry, and academia. In addition, several talks delivered by leading experts will address exploration purposes and policies, an overview of the current state of play of scientific knowledge and technical progress, and space policies.

The Section of Napoli of AIDAA is pleased to invite you to the joined celebrations for the centennials of the AIDAA Section. The event will take place on 20th April 2023 in Napoli.
16 - 19 April 2023, Bertinoro (FC)
The third edition of the Aerospace PhD-Days will be held in Bertinoro (FC), Emilia-Romagna, from the 16th to the 19th of April 2023.
During the congress, PhD students will have the possibilities to share their activities to the colleagues all over the world and, thus, to create a net of the International young researchers; moreover, it will be possible to have a complete overview of the whole research activities in Aerospace.
The Aerospace PhD-Days are open to any PhD student in Aerospace Science and Engineering or with a PhD topic in the aerospace field. PhD graduated in 2023 are welcomed too. In order to participate, an extended abstract on the PhD topic or part of it (min. 2 and max. 8 pages) must be submitted.
The main topics will be related to aeronautics, space, and aviation.

The SESAR Young Scientist Award recognises young scientists, who have demonstrated excellence in ATM and aviation-related research fields. The award also provides researchers starting out in their career with an opportunity for further professional development.
A further objective of the award is to showcase the potential of young talent to formulate fresh ideas and solutions to the challenges facing ATM and aviation.
The 2023 edition of the award has widened its scope from previous years and is now open to two categories:
Contributions are welcome from citizens or residents in an EU Member State or an Associated Country to the Horizon Europe Research and Development Framework Programme (Horizon Europe).
Up to three short-listed candidates for each category will be invited to join the SESAR Innovation Days 2023 from 27-30 November in Sevilla, where the winner of each category will be publicly announced during a dedicated ceremony.
The deadline for applications is 8 September 2023, 24.00 CET

L’AIDAA annuncia la pubblicazione del bando della 5° edizione del Premio in memoria del Professore Franco Persiani, di cui è promotrice unitamente al Centro Studi Franco Persiani e a Serinar. Il premio è destinato a laureati in Ingegneria Aerospaziale o Aerospace Engineering in qualsiasi Università italiana che hanno discusso la propria tesi di laurea magistrale sul tema “Innovazione per il settore aeronautico” nel periodo dal 1 ottobre 2022 al 30 settembre 2023. La scadenza per presentare le domande è fissata al 31 ottobre 2023.
Il prof. Persiani è stato dal 2009 al 2013 presidente dell’AIDAA.

The Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (A.I.D.A.A.) XXVII International Congress will be held in Padova from the 4th to the 7th of September 2023.
The AIDAA Congress is the biennial congress of the Associazione Italiana di Aeronautica ed Astronautica and it is the 27th in the Congress series. The AIDAA Congress brings together an international community of academics and industry professionals to discuss the latest findings in aeronautics and astronautics sciences and technologies. The AIDAA 2023 technical program will include plenary and parallel sessions, keynote speeches, mini-symposia and other events.
The Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a national non-profit cultural association, recognized as the second oldest scientific aerospace society in the world.
