Call for Mini-Symposia and Special Sessions
The Organizing Committee of the AIDAA 2027 International Congress invites proposals for Mini-Symposia and Special Sessions devoted to emerging research topics, innovative methodologies and interdisciplinary developments in aeronautics and astronautics.
Each proposal should clearly describe the scope, scientific motivation and expected relevance of the session, together with the scientific curriculum of the session organizers. Mini-Symposia and Special Sessions should address focused themes that complement the general Congress programme and encourage discussion, collaboration and the exchange of new ideas within the aerospace community.
- Each proposal should include the session title, a one-page abstract, and a justification outlining its scientific motivation, relevance, expected impact, and connection with the most appropriate technical area, addressing a focused, emerging, or interdisciplinary topic;
- Authors should normally contribute to no more than one paper within the same session. An exception may be allowed for an introductory overview paper. At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the Congress and present the work in person;
- A session should be composed of 6 papers;
Call for Papers
Each abstract should be four pages in length to limit the risk of plagiarism in case the contribution is later extended and sent to a scientific journal. In any case, also the final conference paper must not exceed four pages in length, including the abstract, figures, and references, to be included in the Conference Proceedings without paying additional cost. The Conference Proceedings will be indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar, assigned a DOI, and have fully linked references.
Authors who wish to submit longer papers must either pay an additional publication fee or choose to have their paper included in the Conference Proceedings.
We highly appreciate the submission of an extended version to the official AIDAA journal, Aerotecnica Missili & Spazio.
