The AEROACOUSTICS OF LOW MACH NUMBER FLOWS course will take place on June 3, 2024. Course registration is separate from conference registration; for more registration information, please refer to Registration – AIDAA.
The short course will be taken at the Department of Civil, Computer Science and Aeronautical Technologies Engineering, in Via Vito Volterra 60 (see map) Classroom N11.

The course is scheduled to have a duration of 8 hours, with the following time allocation:
- Morning Session on June 3, 2024: 09:00-13:00
- Afternoon Session on June 3, 2024: 14:30-18:30
Course Objectives:
- Addresses in detail sound from rotating blades, ducted fans, airframes, boundary layers, and more
- Presents theory in such a way that it can be used in computational methods and calculating sound levels
- Includes coverage of different experimental approaches to this subject
